Poppy Pods
These crocheted poppy pods look deceptively real and make a lovely, lasting alternative to fresh flowers. Whether you display a few in a vase or create a bundle as a gift with a message attached, they bring a natural touch to any space. The pods are worked in the round and attached to bamboo stems. The realistic crown and vertical stitching give them their signature look.
Gauge
Gauge is not essential for this project. The form should be firm enough to hold shape once stuffed and mounted on the stick.
