Porgs are birds which live on the planet Ahch-To, a common sight on the rocky island where Luke Skywalker lives. They are friendly, curious and fearless, and very interested in the new arrivals on their island - some of them even stow away on the Millennium Falcon!

This pattern will show you how to make tiny versions of both male and female porgs with their slightly different colouring (and an extra slight variation for the male porg) - why not make a whole colony of them?

The pattern is suitable for crocheters with a little experience. The instructions are detailed and easy to follow if you know the basic stitches and techniques used to make amigurumi. I will be happy to answer any questions you may have as you are making it.

Finished size: approximately 5 cm/2” tall.

Yarn required:
Use double knitting (dk) weight yarn, the amounts listed below are approximate. You can substitute worsted weight yarn, but the amounts needed may be slightly more.
5g mid brown yarn.
5g white yarn.
5g gold-coloured yarn (if using).
Small amount of orange yarn.
Small amount of black embroidery thread for features.

You will also need:
Stuffing.
1 pair 9mm black safety eyes.
Tapestry needle.
