These gauntlet-length mitts are worked using two rib stitch patterns. They are elastic and fit to the hand. A knit stitch at the beginning and end of every row makes a firm edge for the seam and a neat finish for the thumbhole.

This pattern features in Issue 67 of Knit Now, which is on sale from 10th October in supermarkets, newsagents and craft stores across the UK. Copies can also be ordered from MoreMags or if you prefer, digital editions are available via PocketMags.
