Notes: These slippers are worked from the ankle down wards. Following the ankle, stitches for the top of the foot are worked on their own, then stitches are picked up along both sides of the foot. Decreases are made to create shaping for the bottom of the foot; stitches are picked up along the back of the foot to close up the slipper. Finally, stitches are picked up around the ankle and the preferred cuff can be worked. To work striped version, alternate colours every two rows in every section except Decrease for Bottom of Foot, Back of Foot, and Cuff.
