“The colourwork pattern on these socks reminds of stepping stones in a formal herb garden,” says designer Barb Brown. “Reversing the colours on the left and right socks is just for fun!” Barb’s socks feature a stylised checked pattern on the legs and feet, striped soles, and a pretty mock cable rib on the cuffs and the heels. They have been knitted in West Yorkshire Spinners Signature 4ply sock yarn, using two shades from its Sweetshop range.
