Mosaic knitting is super-easy and satisfying, as you only knit one color per round, and slip the other.

This pattern was developed by Hyphenplus and adapted by yours truly for publication and testing, with credit given to Julie-Anne. It is an ingenious method of using Mosaic to achieve a smocked effect, with 3 colors.

Yarn: although the pattern calls for worsted weight yarn, any yarn from fingering to bulky could be used with the appropriate needles in multiples of 10. Cast on multiple of 2 (1 x 1 rib) or 4 (2 x 2 rib) stitches and increase after the folded brim to a multiple of 10 stitches.
Sizing: T, (S, M, L) to fit from 18” - 24” / 45 - 61 cm
Height: 7.25, (8, 8.5, 9)“ / 18, (20, 22, 23) cm

Smaller sizes could be achieved with multiples of 10 sts (as noted above)
