Prairie Peaks Pullover
by Pat Hut
Worked with just one color per row, the surprisingly simple pattern features stripes of long stitch chevrons on a garter stitch background. The best part? No purling required. Coordinating shawl collar and sleeve cuffs are worked in solid garter stitch for the finishing touch.
Back is worked flat from bottom to underarm, then stitches are cast on for sleeves and worked to shoulder. Front is worked flatfrom bottom to underarm, then stitches are picked up along cast-on edge of back sleeves and worked to shoulder. Shawl collar is worked flat and shaped with short rows. Cuffs are worked seamlessly from top down.
