Prancing Horse
The original pattern calls for “3 balls fawn and a small ball black Peacock Kooba Fingering”, filling, and 2 black buttons.
“Note: This toy is worked in double wool except for ears.”
“The pattern for this horse can be used to make a zebra if instead of using just one color you work 3 rows in black and 3 rows in fawn alternately.”
However, any weight yarn can be used and a smaller needle than usual (1 or 2 sizes smaller) to create a tight gauge to prevent the stuffing from showing through the fabric.
