Prism
The Prism shawl is a garter stitch rectangle knit on the bias with panels of lace and optional striping. It is designed for a maximum of 300g (10.6oz) of fingering weight yarn with easy customisation to different yarn weights, widths, and lengths. This design was created as part of the Whackalong MKAL 2019 and is aimed at showcasing fractal style handspun yarns as the rectangular shape of the shawl uses the same amount of yarn per row which makes it a great canvas for displaying the spin.
This pattern is also great for showing off other styles of handspun, using mini skeins, stash-busting, and using up any leftovers from other projects. I do recommend a solid colour for the lace panels but all other colour styles and spin styles are suitable for the main body of the shawl, so get creative!
