From the Pattern Description: The tiles and flowers of Provence, France, inspired this delightful afghan. Color blockwork and original appliqued florals are worked in diagonal strips. The check motif is a seed and stockinette stitch combination. The floral motif appliques are knit separately and then sewn to the six plain stockinette stitch blocks. The border is a two-colored textural pattern.
