Pruinae
The wonderful sweater Pruinae offers a new angle on traditional stranded knitting. It is knitted in hand-dyed yarn, with an oversized fit in the body and tight-fitting sleeves with a beautiful floral pattern.
This sweater is designed with approximately 20–30 cm extra ease over the bust. The sleeves are tight-fitting with approximately 0–5 cm ease. The sweater is knit top-down. The stitches for the back are cast on first, and the back is worked down to the lower edge of the armscye. You then pick up stitches on one side of the front and work each of the sides and the neckline separately, to join them once the front neckline is deep enough. The rest of the sweater is worked in the round. Stitches for the sleeves are picked up from the sleeve openings and the sleeves are knit in a two-colored stranded pattern. The neckline is finished with an attached icord.
