Cowl:
Cast on 156 stitches.
This pattern is quite easy: 3 knit stitches, 3 purl stitches for three rounds, and on every four rounds you put two stitches on a cable needle behind the work crossing the last knit stitch in front of the two on the cable needle.

Bind off at 23 cm.

Wrist warmers:
Cast on 60 stitches, follow the pattern above, but after every 5 cm knit two of the purl stitches together, so after 10 cm you have 3 knit stitches and 1 purl stitch. You can either make thumb (consisting of three cables), or bind off at 15 cm.
