Pudding the Cat
Pudding is a squidgy cuddly cat with a striped body. This toy is knitted mostly in stockinette and uses simple increases and decreases for shaping. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the cat is knitted in DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). I have made my cat in brown and grey stripes but you can use any colours; you could use orange and black to make a cuddly tiger cat.
NEEDLES
A pair of 3mm single pointed knitting needles (US 2.5)
RECOMMENDED YARN
Debbie Bliss Cashmerino DK (55% Merino Wool, 33% Acrylic, 12% Cashmere) one 50g in each colour.
NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, and beads for eyes.

One size only - 23cm tall.
TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, a kfb increase, k2tog and ssk decreases, knitting stripes, and seaming to finish.
