A cosy cowl made with chunky weight yarn. The pattern uses the half shell ripple stitch which creates a beautiful texture and appearance. It’s a really quick make and can easily be hooked up in an evening.

Yarn: You’ll need approx. x1 100g ball for the main colour and around 30g of the contrast colour for the edging.

I used King Cole Comfort Chunky in the shades L’eau de nil and Cream. Other chunky acrylic yarns would also be suitable.

Suggested hook size: 6mm

Tension:
Using 6mm hook: x4 half shells x 6 rows = 10cm measured over half shell pattern.

It’s written in UK terms, however, there are conversions for US terms included in the pattern.

Finished measurements:
Approx. 30cm wide x 16cm high
