Approximately 160 170, 180, 190, 200 yards/140 150, 160, 170, 180 aran-weight wool yarn.

ROVING
1 ounce of wool roving.

NEEDLES
US #5/3.75 mm (or size you need to get gauge) for working a small item in the round - either double points, or two circulars, or one long circular for magic loop.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, one double pointed needle in size of needles above or one size smaller, smooth waste yarn in a color that contrasts with working yarn, stitch holder, and two buttons.
