The Puget Hat might just be the perfect cable hat. A wide panel of cables and four pairs of decreases at the crown make this hat stand out from a crowd. This hat’s classic styling means that it will be a favorite gift that you’ll want to make again and again.

The Puget Hat is worked in the round from the bottom up. Stitches are cast on using the smaller circular needle, and the brim is worked in a simple 2x2 Rib. The larger needle is then introduced and the Puget Chart is begun on one side of the hat. After the desired length is achieved, stitch markers are added and stitches are decreased for the crown while the Puget Decrease chart is worked to resolve the cable chart.
