Pugsley
The code “NORICHAN” is provided to assist with financial accessibility. This code will reduce the cost of the pattern to $3.60.
Pugsley is my Halloween themed design for this year, worked in collaboration with Oink Pigments! It is inspired by one of my favorite movies from my childhood: The Addams Family.
The iconic striped shirt Pugsley wore throughout the movie was the primary inspiration, but then I found myself drawn to include the border that reminds me of Morticia’s sleeves, and the split in the back creates a collar (if worn backwards) reminiscent of Wednesday’s dress collar.
The split border also means that the cowl has just the right amount of cover that the back of your neck will be warm, but without the amount of bulk bunching up if it weren’t split. A double win!
This pattern is worked flat at the beginning, then joined to work in the round. Meaning, there are no seams to deal with at the end. :o) Happy Knitting!
