Worked over stockinette stitch, a series of carefully placed double
decreases and increases create the dimensional texture of the separate collar, shown here in two colors. On this page, it’s shown in burnished #13 Sienna, which complements the soft-peak surface of the purl side. Opposite, rich #7 Red sets off the visible shaping and crisp texture of the knit side. The body and sleeves of the accompanying pullover are knit in the round to the armholes, where
the pieces are joined to complete the yoke. Worked with waist shaping, the simple silhouette serves as a canvas for Kiso colorway #5, a shimmering blend of orange, taupe, aqua and violet.
