This pumpkin basket is an adorable, functional decoration with a “hinged” lid. It holds quite a bit of yarn balls, and would make an awesome candy basket for halloween night.

You will use 2 strands of yarn held together for this pattern, and it is worked in the round. I draw my yarn from the center and the outside of the same ball to work with both strands at the same time. I used almost 2 full skeins of red heart super saver bright orange, and you will need a small amount of brown for the stem and a very small amount of green for the leaf and curl.
