This is a pattern for a crocheted Pumpkin Candy Dish. It is worked in size 10 crochet threads with a size 7/1.65mm steel crochet hook. The pumpkin part is worked in halves then stiffened over a 6” styrofoam ball. After they halves are dry they are glued together around the center. The hat is crocheted and stiffened over a cardboard ring to fit the pumpkin. All the features are crocheted as well right down to the curly vines sticking out of the hat band!! The finished size is 6” across the bottom by 8” across the hat with the had brim. It is pretty quick and easy to make, basic crochet stitches are used for this project. If desired a thin wire battery light string could be inserted thru any space on the back of the pumpkin to light up the pumpkin.
