Pumpkin Doll
This cheerful Pumpkin doll is a wonderful addition to your autumn décor—and he’s sure to be a favorite when Halloween arrives!
Whether he’s perched on a shelf, hiding among your decorations, or given as a gift to a child (or a grown-up!), this little Pumpkin doll is bound to bring a smile to everyone who sees him.
The head and body are knitted flat and seamed, with shaping added after you’ve sewn and stuffed each part. You’ll find fully illustrated instructions to guide you every step of the way.
The arms and legs are made with I-cord—don’t worry, instructions are included to make it easy.
The pattern is written for DK (worsted weight) yarn, but you’re welcome to experiment with other yarns to create your own unique pumpkin doll. (Just use a needle one size smaller than recommended for your chosen yarn.)
Thicker yarn will make a bigger pumpkin doll, and thinner yarn will make a smaller one—so you can create a whole patch of pumpkins in different sizes!
