This pumpkin hat is perfect for a trip to the pumpkin farm or can be worn throughout the entire fall season. This pattern can be crocheted in less than two hours. It’s bumpy texture is stretchy and provides warmth, while also is breathable.

Materials used in the pattern are Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice yarn; however, any medium #4 weight yarn can be used. Terracotta and olive colors are used, using less than one skein of each color, US size L (8 mm) and US size K (6.5 mm) crochet hooks, yarn needle, scissors, and optional stitch marker.

Three sizes are included in this pattern. The toddler/child size fits 18-20” head circumference, the baby size fits 15-17” head circumference, and the newborn size fits 13-14” head circumference.

The skill level is advanced beginner/intermediate and includes detailed instructions.

The stem and curly part is worked in one piece first and then the body of the hat is worked from the top to the bottom.
