This pattern is available in English and in Swedish.

PURPUR
This pattern is for a simple and quick hat with a slight slouch. It is knit in a worsted weight wool yarn (or double DK) with an easy-enough colorwork pattern for someone who is not too experienced in stranded knitting. Add a pompom for a nice finish. The hat fits a smaller to medium sized head, for a large head go up a needle size or use a slightly thicker yarn.

ULLCENTRUM
The Swedish company Ullcentrum was established in 1998. It takes care of and produces yarn from Swedish wool that would otherwise be thrown away. The yarn is made from different Swedish sheep breeds, such as the Gotland sheep. The yarn comes in both natural shades and dyed colors. It is also available in several different weights, both spun and unspun and in 1-, 2- and 3-ply. The hat in the photos is knit from 2-ply yarn held double.

MATERIAL
Ullcentrum 2-ply, held double. Gauge 14-15 sts over 10 cm on 5.5 mm needles.
Base color: 6/2-5121 lavender on white, <25 g
Circular needle 40 cm 4.5 mm & 5.5 mm and double pointed needles 5.5 mm.
