The QTee is a cropped, loose T-shirt with wide and comfy sleeves. It features an interesting construction, including a contrast-color sleeve detail and some other fun techniques and finishing touches.
You start top-down, with the options of adding a folded collar or leaving the neck edge plain. Now you knit in the round, with increases along the raglan lines, put stitches on hold to create some extra back length and work armhole increases. After that, you pick up stitches for the front again and work the front, including the armhole shaping. While the back and front stitches are put on hold, you continue with the sleeves, picking up additional stitches along the armhole edges, then working the sleeves in rows, including decreases to compensate for the additional picked-up stitches. To complete the sleeves, you cast on stitches for the underarm, join to knit in the round and after a stretch in stockinette, you finish them neatly with a double-folded edge. Finally, you take up the front and back again, pick up extra stitches at the underarms and knit the body in the round in stockinette stitch, finishing it with a double-folded hem. You can obtain interesting 2-tone effects by using different colors for the body and the sleeves. Both sample yarns, ITO Kinu (page 1) and Kremke Morning Salutation (Title) are perfect summer yarn and create drapey and pleasant-to-wear fabrics. Please share your knits on social media

EASE
--> Sizing is a guide only and you should pick the finished measurements close to your measured bust circumference plus the recommended ease. For this top, it’s recommended to choose a size within the range from zero ease to 10 cm (4 inches) of positive ease at bust. Please keep in mind that the tee has wide sleeves and if you pick a size with a lot of ease at bust the sleeves might become too wide. Sample size 2 (94.5 cm (37.25 inches)) is shown on a 85 cm (33.5 inches) bust (about 10 cm (4 inches) of positive ease).

Circular needles to obtain gauge, recommended sizes: 3 mm (US 2.5) and 4 mm (US 6) with a length of at least of 80 cm
(32 inches) or more for larger sizes
