Designed this easy sock for the SKA June DYO challenge. It’s based on a stitch found in the japanese book 250 Knitting Patterns by Hidomi Shida. It’s a toe up, short row heel pattern perfect for beginners.

I was going to name them Rose Quartz because the stitch reminded me of rose quartz but there arlready was a pattern by that name on Ravelry. So I made up a new word called Quartzonite
