These comfy and warm fingerless Mitts are the perfect antidote to chilly hands when riding the ferry to QCove (Quathiaski Cove) Quadra Island from Vancouver Island in any season.

These one size Mitts are worked in the round from the wrist to the fingers. The Mitts utilize y/o’s for increases for the thumb shaping and knit stitch and purl stitch for the body of the wrister and the trim respectively.
The 6 row MC and 2 row CC repeating stripe pattern is worked throughout including the thumb. The Mitts are started and finished as well as the finished thumb edge with a 2 row purled edge. No sewing is required - weave in the ends when completed!

When using the yarn recommended ( 2 skeins in total) you will have enough for two sets of Mitts, with opposite MC and CC. Knit a pair for yourself and a friend! Check out the included instructions for Jogless Stripes!

Enjoy!
