The bag is worked flat in stockinette stitch in 3 pieces (front, back and a long stripe for sides, bottom and shoulder strap) that need to be sewn together. It’s decorated with embroidered and beaded Queen Anne’s lace motive. It closes up with an icord loop and wooden button. Upper edges of front and back are picoted. The long sides of the shoulder strap are worked in reverse stockinette stitch to obtain a neat rolled edge and a seaming allowance border (for sides and bottom).

I’ve used 5 balls of Rowan Wwool Cotton DK.

Pattern includes directions for lining.

Questa borsa è lavorata in piano, a maglia rasata e in tre pezzi (fronte, retro e una lunga striscia che compone fianchi, fondo e tracolla) che devono essere cuciti. La decorazione ricamata con perline rappresenta il fiore della carota selvatica (Queen Anne’s Lace). Si chiude con un’asola icord e un bottone. Gli orli superiori di fronte e retro sono a dente di gatto, mentre i bordi della tracolla sono lavorati a maglia rasata rovescia, affinché formino un bordo arrotolato.

Per farla ho usato 5 gomitoli di Rowan Wool Cotton DK.
