Drawing inspiration from traditional Elizabethan doublet and hose outfits, many of which were elaborately textured and patterned with naturalistic flower and foliate designs, as well as Elizabethan and Moroccan embroidery, Lucinda Guy designed this colorfully textural tubular scarf. She turned to the beautiful Moroccan silk designs from a similar period for the hot spice colors. Knitted in the round in two sections that are joined with a three-needle bind-off, this scarf is a warm addition to a winter coat and a comforting layer on a cool spring day.
