THIS PATTERN CAN BE PURCHASED THROUGH YOUR LOCAL YARN STORE FOR A SPECIAL PRICE BEGINNING 9/12 THROUGH THE END OF 2020.

There are four versions of this hat in this pattern and five sizes for each!
This gender non-specific hat mimics the hot air balloons flying over Lake Alta in Queenstown, New Zealand. Travel is a huge inspiration, and I never know how it will reveal itself. The youthful, exuberant, and inclusive vibe of Queenstown came out as a hat for everyone.

Choose your yarn, and enjoy making this one — you will likely get asked to make more than one. The hat is shown in 4 different yarns, with slight variations in fit and shape.

Cashgora reveals a flat, draping fabric, while Targhee Sock from Oink Pigments is a cushy superwash. It Could Be Worsted is a 50/50 Merino & Tussah silk blend that drapes. Dottie is a superwash merino blend with slubs. All these yarns can be substituted and I give substitution notes with each pattern.
