I knit this while watching the Super Bowl a couple of months ago, while the Seahawks and Pats battled it out. I used the the hot (seriously, even hotter than Katy Perry’s performance) Super Bulky by Freia Fine Handpaints.

Tools I used

Size US 19 (15mm) needles, 1 skein of Super Bulky by Freia Fine Handpaints, and a tapestry needle. You might prefer to use a cable needle, also, to work the cable stitch.

Size & Gauge Info

The scarf measures 5 inches by 57 inches, so I had a gauge of approximately 11.25 sts per 4 inches. Gauge isn’t critical here, but do note that even a tiny change in gauge WILL result in changes to how much or how little yarn you use.
