The Quiet Waves shawl is a simple two-color shawl with a striking stitch pattern worked from the top-down. Beginning with a garter tab cast on, the triangle shawl shape is established in one color before moving on to the gentle stripes of the garter stitch and lace pattern. Easy to adjust in size, this shawl is perfect for long, peaceful walks on the beach or dining seaside on a chilly evening.

Pattern Notes
Shawl is worked flat from the top down and ends with a knitwise elastic bind off, worked on the Wrong Side of the shawl. Longer circular needles are recommended to hold the large number of stitches. The shawl is easy to adjust in size, if desired. Work the Garter Lace Stripes to desired size, ending with Rows 3, 7, 11, or 15. Finish the shawl by completing the bind off on the Wrong Side with MC. Remember, changing the size of your shawl will affect the finished size as well as the amount of yarn needed.
