Classic Shetland Fingerless Mitts featuring the all-over motif from the Radiant Star Cowl (found in the Shetland Wool Week Annual 2020) and a seeding pattern on the palm. Inspired by all-over jumpers of the 70s and 80s with a bright retro colour palette.

Jamieson & Smith 2ply Jumper Weight (4ply weight / fingering; 100% Real Shetland Wool; 115m; 25g balls)
Yarn A: Shade 81 Charcoal Black; 2 x 25g balls
Yarn B: Shade 125 Bright Orange; 1 x 25g ball
Yarn C: Shade 71 Bright Turquoise; 1 x 25g ball
Yarn D: Shade 75 Pale Turquoise; 1 x 25g ball
Yarn E: Shade 66 Mid Yellow; 1 x 25g ball
Yarn F: Shade 91 Bright Yellow; 1 x 25g ball

One set 2.5mm double-pointed needles (DPNs) or needles suitable for your preferred method of small circumference knitting
One set 3.00mm double-pointed needles (DPNs) or needles suitable for your preferred method of small circumference knitting
2 lengths of smooth waste yarn for afterthought thumb placement
2 stitch holders or longer lengths of smooth waste yarn

Size
One size, to fit small/medium adult hands with a circumference of 7/7.5 inches, if you increase your needle size you will be able to get bigger mitts.
