Yarn made from paper? Yes, please! This unique yarn makes such a great summer sun hat. It is cool and breathable and very light-weight. You only need to know how to single-crochet to make one!
The hat begins at the top of the crown and finishes at the brim.
Yarn
Kremke Papyrus (165 yds/100 gm; 100% paper); 2 rolls. We used color #16 Rot for the pictured hat.
Hook and Notions
US Size G (4mm) hook.
Tapestry needle.
Removable stitch marker.
Optional leather cord and beads for embellishment.

Adult (Large Adult)
23” (25”) crown circumference.
Pictured in the smaller size.
Gauge
14 sc and 14 rows=4”, crocheted in the round.
