Ragna
Hello fellow knitter! These socks were named after my great grandmother, Ragna, who was rocking the flapper style in 1920s rural Norway, at a time and place when it was literally unheard of. The charts used in these socks stem from the Gotland mittens ‘hourglass’ which were collected in the early 1920s as a museum piece. The pattern is easily memorisable, and you’ll have a pair of socks finished before you know it. You can knit these socks toe-up and cuff-down as seen in the left- and right-hand columns, respectively.
I hope you will enjoy this pattern, and if you need any help or have any suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact me on Ravelry! The group ‘Skeindeer Knits’ is the best place for support. Happy knitting!
