Rainbow Placemats
EACH ROW OF THESE PLACEMATS, knitted in garter stitch with a moss-stitch border, is worked in one of six colors, and at the end of each row the yarn is cut. When the placemats are finished, the cut ends are knotted and trimmed to make fringe. Because colors interact in each garter ridge, they meld together rather than maintain separate and distinct stripe identities.
Finished Size 17” (43 cm) wide and13” (33 cm) long, excluding fringe.
