Chapter 13 - Rainbow Rays at Batley station - The Kaleidoscopic Rainbow Rays theme that was first installed on St Georges square Huddersfield was replicated at Batley Station. We had a number of satellite yarn bombing sites throughout Kirklees that had been managed and created by local teams (see Chapter 5). The site at Batley Station was created in conjuction with the ‘Friends of Batley Station’, with squares knitted and donated by The Big Rainbow knitters.

In this Chapter are the schematic pattern layouts used for each panel that adorns the 2 columns in Batley station, Each panel consists of 25 squares and allows for a completely different look than those found in Chapter 1.

She explores how the centre blocks 3 x 3 squares could be used replicated to create quilt like throws for your home.
