This Shawl is a great Project if you ever liked to try an lace Shawl heart shaped but you are new to lace knitting.

It is an easy lace pattern, you can follow the written instruction (full 188 rows) or follow the Chart (till row 34) but after a few repeats, you will not Need the instructions anymore. The pattern knits in quickly and it becomes an easy, joyfull knit, perfect to be knitted in front of the TV ;o)

Instead of a classic bind of, I worked a crochet one, this gives you a nice lacy boarder but of course you could also work a knitted bind off.

4.0 mm / US 6 best to use a long circular needle as you will have a lot of stitches after a short time

20 sts and 32 rows per 10 cm / 4 in worked in pattern straight, after washing and blocking.
Changes in gauge, while not crucial for the fit of the project, will result in size differences and affect the amount of yarn needed to complete the project.
