Rainbow Strip
This multi-coloured wall hanging uses my colour pop technique to give three dimensional rolls of colour that add a bright and modern touch to any room.
It measures about 10 cm wide and 36 cm tall when finished (4 x 14”) and is fitted with wooden sticks and a curtain ring - both covered with knitting - so that it can be hung up.
This pattern is ideal for using up scraps of coloured yarn; each colour pop uses less than 2g of yarn - a length of about 3.5 metres. I have used 24 different shades but the pattern would work just as well in shades of one or two colours. You will also need about 25 g of the background colour.
All my ravelry patterns are free to download but, if you enjoy them, please consider making a donation to the Children’s Liver Disease Foundation, a charity which funds research and supports the families of children with a liver disease. You can do this easily by going to my fundraising page www.justgiving.com/frankiesknittedstuff
