MATERIALS: 3 ounces of wool in white and 4 ounces of Rainbow wool; a pair each of Nos. 10 and 12 “Stratnoid” knitting needles.
MEASUREMENTS: Length from shoulder to lower edge, 17 inches; width all round under the arms, 34 inches; length of sleeve seam, 4 inches.
Editor note: This is knitted in a single piece from the front ribbing up through the sleeves and neck opening and then down the back to finish. The square neck opening is surrounded by a garter stitch border, and the front is drawn down into a sweetheart neckline by a knitted scarf tied through a slot 2” below the front edge.
