Rainbow Sweater
This is a super simple, super gorgeous jumper. Great for a first jumper project. I always find working with stripes speeds my knitting up no end and
I’m sure you’ll find the same – it knits up in a jiffy!
The jumper is knitted from the top down and uses really simple increases which give that lovely swirl pattern at the yoke. I think it looks just lovely.
When thinking about you colour choices, the main decision is which colour do you want your jumper to start and end with. I’ve gone for Blueberry
Muffin in this one. To be honest, when I first put these colours together I didn’t think they went together that well, but I persevered and I’m just so pleased with how it’s turned out.
You can obviously have fun with the stripes – do them varying thicknesses or reflect them rather than repeat them. Just make sure you make a note of what you do so you can repeat the same pattern down the sleeves.
