Rainbow Top
Pay What Works: In an effort to find a balance between more financial accessibility and sustainable pricing, I now offer a “Pay What Works” model. This allows for financial flexibility while still valuing and respecting the work and energy I and others provide in the making of this pattern. The price shown on Ravelry is the “true” value of the pattern that best reflects the work put into creating this design.
To purchase the pattern at a price point that is more accessible to you, use the coupon code at checkout listed next to the price point. The prices indicate the price you will pay, not the discount amount. No coupon code is needed for the highest price point.

“My teacher asked my favorite color. … I said ‘Rainbow’…. and I was punished to stand out of my class.”
― Saket Assertive
I found the quote used for this design to be the quintessential Dreamer response. Dreamer Fibre Muses live and breathe color, and I created this design as a celebration of that. By keeping the body of the top simple (it is knit in either stockinette or garter stitch), it allows the color to take center stage. So I highly recommend finding rainbow yarn in your stash to use for this!
This is a sleeve-less top, worked top-down. First worked flat, using raglan shaping to form the front and back pieces, then joined in the round for the rest of the body. An accent yarn is used for finishing touches and the straps.
YARN
DK ; 8 ply
Goldilocks DK by Yarn Love (DK; 80% Merino, 10% Nylon, 10% Cashmere goat; 250 yards / 113 grams).
1 skein in Verdigris and 2 skeins in Unicorn Poop.
This is an extremely soft and smooth yarn with plenty of elasticity. Elasticity in the fiber is important for this project as it is fit fitting to the body.
