This pattern is worked from the top down. The collar, then the shoulders are worked in the round, then the body is divided into the front and the back and worked back and forth separately. They are joined at underarm and worked again in the round down. The back hem is worked longer with short rows. Finally, the sleeves are worked top-down, and you have to choose from simple or balloon sleeve, or both!

US 6 / 4 mm and US 4 / 3.5 mm circular needles, 24” / 60 cm or longer
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Note
襟から裾に向かって編むトップダウンになります. 襟から肩まで輪編みで進み, そこから脇下まで往復編み, そして再び輪編みで裾まで編みます. 裾はドイツ式引き返し編み (German short row) で前後差をつけます. 袖は拾い目をして輪編みでカフスまで編みます. すっきりした袖, ふんわりした袖, そしてその両方を左右変えて編むアシンメトリー袖とお好みの袖を選べます.
