Knitting Under a Mango Moon …can cause color delerium, a simple, unabashed need for more silk as can be attested by those attending the 2010 September Knitting Under a Mango Moon workshop featuring this vest. The yarn, a mix of recycled sari silk and ribbons, certainly whipped me into a passion as I conceived and knit the design. Not only is this a fun way to use ribbon yarns, as in Rag Silk (strips of genuine silk saris) but accommodates a mix of other yarns, too.
Raj Vest Ingredients (all yarns by Mango Moon)
2 hanks Dharma, one each in Ebony or Geranium
1 hank Chakra, Black/Licorice
2 hands Silk Ribbon, one Eclipse, one Mars
2 hands Nirvana in Licorice
