A classic shawl with playful style, tassels and a central band of mohair rectangles make Rakuda (Love) a perfect addition to almost any wardrobe. It’s worked in the traditional way (from the long edge towards the tip), with garter stitch and stockinette coming together in a sophisticated pairing that’s relaxing to knit. ITO’s wool-camel Rakuda yarn forms an oh-so-cosy body, with just a touch of mohair from ITO Sensai.

LS = 240 m / 262 yd / 20 g / 1 ball

If replacing the yarn for the lace strand, which will be held double in this design, a yarn with some mohair content is recommended.

Rakuda (Love) ist ein klassisches Dreiecktuch mit spielerischen Quasten und einem zentralen Element aus Rechtecken in Mohair. Gestrickt wird ganz traditionell von der längsten Kante zur Spitze, mit den Rechtecken als zentraler Achse. Dabei wird hauptsächlich kraus rechts gearbeitet, nur die Mitte ist glatt rechts gehalten, wodurch sie sich vom Rest des Tuchs hervorhebt.

ITO Rakuda sorgt für kuscheligen Tragekomfort und für die Akzente wird ITO Sensai mit eingestrickt.
