Rambling Rose Wrap
Rambling Rose Wrap is designed to be worn as a large, snuggly stole. It uses a simple one-row repeat to create the main body of the wrap before border rounds are added.Finally, colourful embellishments are added with embroidery.Rambling Rose Blanket was originally published in Issue 4 of The Annual by John Arbon Textiles.

MC: John Arbon Textiles Devonia 4ply, 100g/ 388m/ 424yds, 50% Exmoor Blueface/ 30% Bluefaced Leicester/ 20% Romney in shade Sandbar.
CCs: John Arbon Textiles Devonia 4ply, 100g/ 388m/ 424yds, 50% Exmoor Blueface/ 30% Bluefaced Leicester/ 20% Romney. Shades used were: Furbelows (CC1), Bleeding Heart (CC2) & Sage Sprig (CC3).

Tension/ Gauge:
Measured over main stitch pattern rows, after blocking 15.5 sts x 16 rows to a 10cm / 4” square using 4mm hook.
Measurements:
Length (A): 206cm / 81” Width (B): 43cm/ 17”
Yarn Substitution Suggestions:
For the embroidery, any scrap 4ply yarns can be used. High-contrast colours against the main blanket colour will work best.
Budget 4ply: Finull by Rauma Garn, 50g/ 175m/ 191yds; 100% Norwegian Wool
Mid-range 4ply: Solstice by West Yorkshire Spinners, 100g/ 400m/ 437yds; 70% Falkland Wool/ 20% Lyocell/ 10% Cashmere
