Help Rapunzel escape from her tower and the clutches of Frau Gothel!

Taking in a pantomime show is a Christmas tradition for many families, and I have chosen a few of my favourite characters for this year’s Panto season. The cast of this Pantomime includes Prince Charming, Rapunzel in Tower, and Frog Prince.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the dolls are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES:
A pair of 3mm single pointed knitting needles (US 2.5).

RECOMMENDED YARN:
Yarnsmiths Create DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; One 100g/290m skein in each colour.


NOTIONS:
Tapestry needle, toy filling, plus buttons, and beads for features and decoration. The tower is made from empty cans of stacking potato crisps.

SIZES:
One size only - From 7cm to 19cm tall. Heights of each toy are Prince Charming 16cm, Rapunzel 14.5cm, Tower 19cm and Frog 7cm.

TECHNIQUES:
For confident beginners/intermediate and above, other techniques used include casting on and off (including a picot cast on), knits, purls, increases and decreases, knitting stripes, and mattress stitch seaming to finish.
