The Raspberry Patch Cowl is a basic Tunisian crochet pattern, perfect for beginners new to Tunisian crochet. A very quick, easy and satisfying make using the beginner Tunisian Simple Stitch.

Use any wool, acrylic or wool mix yarn in a DK/light worsted weight to make the cowl.

The cowl is the perfect length and size to keep your neck warm and cosy, without being bulky. I have used two beautiful contrasting colours for a fun result but you can use as many or as few colours as you like to make it your own.

Designed using the Tunisian Simple Stitch which makes the texture of the cowl look professional and leaves no holes like traditional crochet!

The cowl is designed in one size but is easily customisable if you would like extra length.

The pattern has a key at the start to explain the abbreviations used throughout the pattern.

You will need:

5.00mm standard crochet hook plus 6.00mm Tunisian hook. Or hook size to match the gauge indicated in the info at the start of the pattern.

DK yarn. Pictured is Willow and Lark ‘Ramble’ in ‘limestone’ and Stylecraft Life DK in ‘Cranberry’.

Requires; 62.5m (68yrds) of each colour. Total = 125m (136yards)
