Raven Yuletide No.3… commences with an I-cord cast-on and then works from a small point, increasing at the end of every right-side row, ending as a generous triangle with an I-cord cast-off. Christmas Cactus flowers add a seasonal touch. The mosaic pattern works up quickly and all rows are knit rows, no purling!
 

Measurements approx. after blocking:
78 in/198 cm wingspan x 51 in/130 cm x 51 in/130 cm x 32 in/81 cm at deepest point.
(Metric measurements are rounded off to the nearest cm).

A: 2 x 113 g Briggs & Little Sport 1 ply; Shade – Bleached White.
Used 130 g/ 452 m.
B: 2 x 150 g Schoppel Wolle Zauberball Stärke 6; Shade – 2631 Italian Sunset.
Used 180 g/ 479 m.

Needle Size: 3.5 mm (Note: I work with classic, straight needles and switch to an 80 cm circular needle to accommodate the increased number of stitches).
