Because its simple cut highlights the subtle shine and dreamlike stitch definition of the Cheeky Merino Joy. Meanwhile, she owns several ponchos for which she keeps getting compliments - and also the request to finally publish a pattern for them. Its rectangular shape, which is worked in rows, folded and sewn together with an invisible seam, makes the poncho Ravie one of the easiest garments in the world. If you have never tried knitting garments before, this pattern is for you. But even for more experienced knitters, Ravie offers variety due to the interesting section in a Smock Stitch pattern. An I-cord edge also provides a sophisticated finish. The pattern explains how you can easily adjust the poncho if you want to have a square shape instead of an oblong one.

Ravie is part of our first own collection 2020 with the theme Joy. It was conceived by Rosy and realized with a team around the world in times of a global pandemic. The pattern names are joyful expressions from different languages. They remind us that joy, diversity and solidarity across borders can give us hope and strength. Ravie is French and means delighted.
