Teresa Ruch is an extremely talented weaver and hand dyer. Her rayon boucle and tencel yarns are dyed using a cold dye process and the colors are so saturated you really need to see them in person to fully appreciate the artistry that goes into each skein.

Teresa was a textile designer for Pendelton Blankets in Portland for over 10 years and having worked with her for some time I truly believe that she sees color in a way that escapes the rest of us. Her yarn is a joy to work with and the color a rare pleasure. I hope you’ll give it a try and find out for yourself how wonderful the textures and colors can be using her innovative yarns.

The Rayon Boucle Shawl comes with written instructions and charts and has been professionally tech edited and test knit for accuracy.

The Shawl is traditional triangle shawl knit from the neck to the long edge. The shawl has a knit-on border which means it’s not necessary to bind off 165+ stitches at once! The bold knit-on edging is worked back and forth over 30 stitches and a k2tog with the main body stitches every other row eliminates the large bind off stitch by stitch. This is a great shawl for beginning-intermediate Lace Knitters.

Yarn Two 4 ounce balls of Teresa Ruch Rayon Boucle 100% Rayon Boucle. 262 yards/ 240 meters. Total yardage: 390 yards/ 358 meters. Color A, Color B.

Gauge
14 stitches and 16 rows over 4 inches in Stockinette Stitch.

Finished Pattern Measurements
52 inches wide by 24 inches long after blocking.
